Area of responsibility

Siegfried Wanker has been a member of the Management Board of STRABAG SE, responsible for the International + Special Divisions segment, since 1 January 2011.

This segment stands out with its broad range of services, consolidating, on one hand, STRABAG’s non-European activities while, on the other hand, encompassing a wide portfolio, including tunnelling, concessions, property and facility services, and real estate development.

Curriculum vitae

Siegfried Wanker joined the STRABAG group in 1994 after studying civil engineering at Graz University of Technology. Between 2001 and 2004, he served as managing director at engineering service providers; he returned to STRABAG in 2005. As a member of the Management Board of STRABAG AG, Austria, he was initially in charge of the international building construction business, then for corporate development and services, and finally for infrastructure project development.
