STRABAG SE - STRABAG erhält Großauftrag für EUR 170-Mio. Hochhausprojekt in Rotterdam

Die STRABAG Tochter Züblin hat den Bauauftrag für das Großprojekt "De Rotterdam" im Wert von rund € 170 Mio. erhalten. Auftraggeber des Projekts, das als Partnerschaftsmodell ausgeführt wird, ist die De Rotterdam CV – ein Joint Venture aus MAB Development, Den Haag und OVG Project Development, Rotterdam. Ausführende Gesellschaften sind die beiden Züblin Töchtergesellschaften Züblin Nederland BV und STRABAG Belgium, die sich im Rahmen dieses Projektes zu einer ARGE zusammengeschlossen haben. 
 
Das bis zu 150 m hohe dreiteilige Hochhausensemble mit einer Bruttogeschossfläche von rund 160.000 m² wird auf dem Rotterdamer Wilhelminapier unmittelbar an der Maas errichtet und ist Bestandteil eines großen städtebaulichen Konzepts der Umgestaltung des ehemaligen Hafenbereichs zu einem neuen Stadtteil. Nach dem Entwurf des niederländischen Architekten Rem Koolhaas sind zwei Untergeschosse (Parken) und ein siebengeschossiges Sockelgebäude vorgesehen, auf dem drei prägnant verspringende Hochhäuser (Ost-, Mittel- und Westturm) errichtet werden. 
 
Im Westturm (45 Geschosse) entstehen ca. 220 Wohnungen, im Mittelturm (41 Geschosse) werden 60.000 m² Büroflächen und im Ostturm (43 Geschosse) ca. 280 Hotelzimmer sowie weitere Büroflächen zur Verfügung stehen. Neben dem kompletten Rohbau ist Züblin für die schlüsselfertige Erstellung des Wohnturms und die Ausbauarbeiten des gesamten Bauvorhabens verantwortlich. Die Fertigstellung ist für Ende 2013 geplant.

STRABAG subsidiary Züblin has won the construction contract to build the De Rotterdam project valued at around € 170 million. The client of the project, which is being carried out under a partnership model, is De Rotterdam CV, a joint venture of MAB Development, The Hague, and OVG Project Development, Rotterdam. The Züblin subsidiaries Züblin Nederland BV and STRABAG Belgium, who have formed a joint venture, will execute the project. 
 
The three-tower high-rise complex will reach a height of up to 150 m and will have a gross floor area of about 160,000 m². The towers are being built directly on the river Maas in Rotterdam’s Wilhelminapier as part of the urban redevelopment of the former port area into a new city district. The design by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas calls for two basement levels (parking), one seven-storey main building and three prominently projecting high-rise towers (East, Middle and West Tower). 
 
The West Tower (45 floors) will house approx. 220 apartments, the Middle Tower (41 floors) 60,000 m² of office space and the East Tower (43 floors) approx. 280 hotel rooms as well as additional office space. Züblin is responsible for the excavation works, the construction of the entire shell, the turnkey construction of the residential tower and the extension work for the entire project. Completion is planned for the end of 2013.
